Woodland Press has just been notified by Hatfield and McCoy documentary director Mark Cowen that the History Channel has decided that the premiere of their two-hour documentary will now air on Saturday, June 2 at 4 pm ET. This is the film that includes the involvement and interviews of several state residents/natives, including Raamie Barker, Dean H. King, and Woodland Press CEO Keith Davis.

The two-hour film will also feature historical material, feud-related photographs, and Hatfield documents from Woodland Press, which were used for background materials and research for the project.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. - Along with all the statewide coverage being given the Hatfield and McCoy feud this month, mostly due to the History Channel's upcoming programming centered around the famous vendetta, Charleston Town Center Books-A-Million will host a special booksigning and meet-and-greet with Los Angeles author and Hatfield and McCoy Feud expert, Anne Black Gray, on both Sat., May 12, from 2-5 p.m. — and a special Mother's Day appearance on Sun, from 2 - 4 p.m.

The Logan County Chamber of Commerce will host a reception and booksigning with Los Angeles author and Hatfield and McCoy Feud expert, Anne Black Gray, on Mon., May 14th, from 2 – 3 p.m. Anne, who is promoting her new book, “The Devil’s Son: Cap Hatfield and the End of the Hatfield and McCoy Feud,” will be greeting the public in the lobby of the new Chamber Office at 325 Stratton St. The public is invited and refreshments will also be served.

LEXINGTON, KY - A special program, entitled, "A Kennedy Evening" will be held this Mon., Apr. 30th at Joseph-Beth Bookstore, from 7:00 p.m - 9:00 p.m., in Lexington. The program is the first of a series of events that will focus on the life and times of John F. Kennedy and the entire Kennedy family. The topic of the Monday gathering, being the first of the series, will be "Senator John F. Kennedy and West Virginia - 1960."
