Author Jane Lipscomb attended book event at Empire Books

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. - Prolific regional author Jane H. Lipscomb, of Proctorville, O, recently signed copies of her new literary offering at Empire Books and News, 30 Pullman Square, in Huntington. The regional author event was held on Sat., Dec. 12th, 2009.

Lipscomb's new softcover volume, Connected: In His Steps, By His Side, or On His Back, is her second book and is already being tagged as an inspiring literary triumph. According to Mountain State publisher, Logan Publishing House (an imprint of Woodland Press) the book is an inspiring devotional that will take the reader on a powerful and life-changing journey.

"My writing is really not about me, but about the Lord's goodness to me. Otherwise, I would have nothing to say," Lipscomb said.

Lipscomb is a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, businesswoman, accomplished pianist and teacher. Additionally, she has been a speaker at a variety of ladies retreats and banquets in numerous churches in the area.
