Drug Emporium hosts Mountain Author Weekend on Saturday

BARBOURSVILLE, W.Va. - Drug Emporium will celebrate Mountain Author Holiday Weekend and the beginning of the Christmas shopping season at their Barboursville store this Sat., Dec. 3rd, from 2 - 5 pm. For the occasion, Mountain State book authors Jessie Grayson, Ellen Thompson McCloud, and Frank Larnerd will be on hand to greet the public and talk about their respective books.

"West Virginia is fortunate to have a number of exceptional writers," said F. Keith Davis, member of the Independent Book Publishers Association and CEO of Woodland Press, a book publishing firm located in Logan County. "We would like to thank Drug Emporium for their generosity and for hosting Mountain Author Holiday Weekend this year. This event focuses on regional authors and highlights the literary arts in our great state."

During the activity, Grayson and McCloud will be signing special copies of their new title, "Shadows and Mountains: Fireside Stories from the Dark Heart of Appalachia.," "The Mothman Files," and "Dark Tales of Terror." Larnerd will personalize copies of the state bestseller, "Mountain Magic: Spellbinding Tales of Appalachia."
