RIPLEY, W.Va. - The WV Writers Spring Conference 2012, the Mountain State's largest gathering of state writers, authors and editors, will take place on June 8, 9 and 10 at Cedar Lakes Conference Center in Ripley, WV.

This year, Woodland Press associate and award-winning writer and editor Geoffrey Cameron Fuller (author of "Full Bone Moon") will be teaching a special course in nonfiction.

Additionally, Karin Fuller, award-winning writer and state newspaper columnist, will join Geoff and will teach a workshop on turning life experiences into nonfiction.

West Virginia author, governor's advisor and reenactors involved in History Channel documentary

CHAPMANVILLE, W.Va. - Recently, Mountain State author, publisher and historian F. Keith Davis was interviewed along with Raamie Barker, senior advisor to West Virginia Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin, for an upcoming two-hour documentary on the Hatfield and McCoy Feud. The show is scheduled to air on Saturday, June 2 at 4 pm ET, on the History Channel, several days after a dramatic mini-series on the feud debuts, which will star Kevin Costner.

Drug Emporium hosts state authors for signing event this Saturday
